Utilizing Google Map technology, www.flightsheet.com can preview proposed flights between any two selected airports in North America. It is designed for the benefit of pilots, flight dispatchers and travel organizers.
This popular tool generates a printable map display of the direct great circle flight path between the points. It also shows distance and aviation details and services for each terminal airport. For this the user need only enter the destination and departure identifiers. If the optical airspeed and wind values are also entered, the navigation calculation is also displayed.
Additional features include fast access to current wind tables and a regional weather map.
The information should never be substituted for official flight briefings. The map display is intended only as a supplement to regular aviation charts which should always be carried on board.
